Yep .. Robin ... now where is Batman? I have a robin friend too, 3 years now, he hangs around me when I till the soil of my garden, he come to about 2 feet of me :) ... thats where I throw the grubs.

How I would love to see one of these guys now. The cardinals chase them away from our little bit of Illinois in the fall. Nice to have your shot here to visit.

Nice close-up, John. Basically the same colors except the English one's color pattern is not as defined. Also the American one here does not have a dark beak.

I did "up" the color a little but a lot of Robins here are pretty colorful and some are pretty dull. I wasn't that close but I cropped the photo. Maybe it's not even a Robin?

This bird is totally different from the bird we call a Robin in England.
We do not have this bird here, not by any name.

Very colorful robin. The color of the robins are very dull here.
