I surely agree. I stop there every trip. Great deli department with lots of warm food. Chicken, beans, good cole slaw and potato salad. A great place.

hey its nice to see an awsome pic of my fathers store, it truly is a nice place to stop.

Dan, that's especially true if you drink it or sniff it. It also make you talk in clipped, funny accents.

Thanks, Dave. You're right, of course. I must have missed a sign.

They don't sell gas in England; but instead it's something called "petrol". I believe it makes you drive on the wrong side of the road...

I hope that never happens, John. Part of the collective much like that useless group, the United Nations.

Dave, most Americans in London have no comprehension of real money, and are always asking "whats that in dollars".
Converting pounds to dollars is just a habit I got into when conversing with residents of the U.S.A.
We do not have Euros yet (the ultimate Mickey Mouse money).
We will be getting them as sure as the E.E.C. owns England.

John, why are you using American dollars to buy gas? Isn't the English pound or the Euro honored at gas stations in England? (Or is it "Britain"?---I can never get it right.)

I'll second LeeG's comment. What's going on in Michigan to keep the prices so low? As Wavy Gravy said (sort of) at the first Woodstock music festival, "You must be in Heaven, Man!"

What strikes me most in this scene is the fact that I paid 50 cents more a gallon for gas this afternoon!! Nice shot, I like your hometown pics.
