MR. RED TURNER, CAUGHT RED HANDED TURNING ON RED IN HIS RED TRUCK WEARING HIS RED HAT, CHASING A RED CAR..

HARBOR BEACH MICHIGAN

CUTTING CORNERS WHILE LOOKING AT
THE CORNER OF THE CORNER STORE
THROUGH THE CORNER OF HIS EYE.
And from here it gets complicated.
Thanks to Dave Beedon's keen eyes
and Steve Ainsworth's and Dan Dunn's
and Barbara Meredith's astute observations.
I didn't even recognize Mr. Turner at first
or what the heck he was doing.

Amazing and effective treatment, I love the picture!

Damn, its times like this that I wish I was not colour blind to Red.
Barbara Meredith06-Jun-2008 03:18
Mr. Red Turner is obviously turning because he is trailing
that red car.

Larry, I really like your "white-out" treatment approach to shots like this--it gives them the distinctive look of another era and the colors look great in contrast. Dave, I believe Red is cutting corners while looking at the corner of the corner store out of the corner of his eye.

I like the unique exposure of this shot. At first I thought it was snow.

If that truck had been stolen you would have caught him "red handed" as well....

great image !

Dang it! I knew I should have not rushed it.

Larry, the "Red Turner" bit is great, but what about the red hat ("wearing red")?
Dave Beedon30-Apr-2006 03:17
Larry, I love the wording! It could be improved only if the name of the driver were "Red" and the event had been written about in the local paper. Then you could say, "I just read that Red, in red and wearing red, turned on red." The double use of "corner" adds icing to the cake, but I don't know how to incorporate that too/those two.
