ME, JIM PHELAN AND SAM VENTIMIGLIA
AROUND 75 LARRY DAVID BRADEN

ME, JIM PHELAN AND SAM VENTIMIGLIA

These guys were like brothers to me. Not as close as my real flesh and blood but we grew up together.
The middle guy, Jim, lived next door. He married my ex's sister. They have a daughter, Brenna.
Sam lived about three blocks away. He married a girl at our church. They have a son and daughter.
Me? Three kids and three beautiful grand kids.

Methinks there is at least one hippie wannabe in this photo. In 1967 I let my hair "grow": it was about as long as the middle hair here, but without sideburns and facial hair. My parents had a fit about it: it represented a challenge to their values. It's amazing what gets people agitated.
