One of the best restaurants in Memphis. Stopped there for lunch before flying home to Philly.
Disconcerting when you pull up to the place on Florida Street but once you get inside, Rob & the girls guide you through the menu and make sure you leave stuffed and happy.
I highly recommend the gumbo, jambalaya, collard greens, cabbage and, for dessert, peach cobbler a la mode. Authentic Creole / Soul food of the first order.
If you need a fancy place with linen tablecloths, go somewhere else. If you want great food at reasonable prices, you must stop here.
Check the hours first though. This location closed at 3 PM the day we were there.
