Hydrophyllum macrophyllum
(Large-Leaf Waterleaf)

Pegram, TN

This is a densely pubescent perennial growing in masses
12"-24" tall with long, deeply mottled (look water stained
when they first emerge), pinnately-divided leaves with 7
to 9 lobes. The white to pinkish flowers appear in May-
June in radiating clusters with the stamen protruding
well beyond the corolla. Found in Middle and East Tn in
rich moist woods. The plant becomes obvious around March.

Also added another "distracting" triptych...
