Vanderbilt Children's Hospital

After Will returned from his procedure Wednesday morning, he remained
restrained to keep him from pulling the tube from his nose (again).
It is there to keep gas from building up in his intestines. There is
no way to explain to a thirteen month old boy why it's there or why
he should not pull it out.

i am a friend of brenda vaughn and she has been sending me all the news on little will. I am an PICU nurse at LeBonheur Children's hospital in Memphis, so I have cared for many children that have had HUS. My thoughts and prayers are with you both as an individual and as a nurse. I know that God is completely in control and pray not only for will's recovery but for peace and rest for you as his parents.
