Morning After

January 23

Home

Sunday was a complete wash out. We got about 4 inches of rain throughout the day
with flooding all over Middle Tennessee. This is one of the feeder streams on
the back of our property that flows into Talley's Branch as seen during my Monday
morning walk.

Another from the "Amped" gallery...

Love the soft water and the composition. Like the small beeches holding their leaves. Like how the stream curves out of view at the top of the notch. Vote.

Nature has a majestic way of balancing things out.
What is good for the forest is not always good for mankind.
And you capture it all in you backyard.
Guest 25-Jan-2006 00:23
Absolutely beautiful - I've said it before Scott, but you're a lucky man to have this in your back yard!

What a beautiful image, but sorry about the flooding. We got 1/2 inch, and I was grateful for that.

Love the deep rich carpet of colour the wet leaves create. I hope the flood waters recede quickly, Scott.

Nice rustic shot. We got the same rain after you did, about 3".
Had a lot of flooding, but filled up the ponds and reservoirs.
