In Spanish, "Ritual De Lo Habitual" means the ritual of the habitual. It
was the name of one of those "theme song" albums of my twenties by
the colorful band Jane's Addiction. I'm sure to drummer Stephen Perkins,
guitarist Dave Navarro, bassist Eric Avery and lead singer Perry Farrell,
this album was creatively named to proclaim their more sordid lifestyles
and boundary free living. To me it just reflects the ritualistic nature
of the mundane.
