Content

Cheekwood House and Gardens

The small things in life keep a child content. There could
be all kinds of distractions but their focus on one thing
will block all else out. A window, the view outside and a
reflection worked well.

As with the other portraits, I love the catchlights and treatment here. The reflection adds a great deal of interest to this image as well. As I look at the reflection, I almost see a different expression/emotion than one that is conveyed from the portrait itself.
