In this case I think the similarity in color between the spider and the flower is very interesting, making it better than the black and white version.

As I commented on the other, I prefer the b&w, but this is great as well. It is nice to see the light greens/yellows (and bits of red) of the spider which are offset nicely by the center of the Rudbeckia (at least that what the flower looks like). Didn't mention this in my other comments, but great crop here as well.

Great shot! (And I hate spiders!!) I do like the color version on this one better. All the subtle colors in the spider are cool to see!

Great Macro I think the colour version has a little more interest in it, is that a small cricket the spider has hold of?

Wow. I actually like this color version a little better. More depth, more impact, and the flower and the spider match hues nicely. Well done.
