I submit this as "High Key" for the Thursday Challenge.

Headed to the new sub gallery Minimally in my Mind's Eye.

Great shot Scott, I love it! This suits high-key so well, it really emphasises the steel and metal-ness (is that a word....?) of the compass...an ideal B&W study. V

I started life out as a drafter and have a box full of my old equipment laying around somewhere. I once tried to cell it in a garage sale, but most folks just looked at it and asked what the hell that stuff was. ;-)

When was the last time you had to use it?
you must have stuck the point in foam core to hold it upright for the shot.
