We had the opportunity to visit Luzern in October this year (2011) with our relatives who were living in Bern - Switzerland. It is an awesome place and a lovely country for tourists. Would love to come back some other time godwillingly !!

Hye Konrad, Awesome set of pics of Luzern u have here! I went to Luzern on 8th - 10th Feb 2009 and it was so beautiful, the people are so friendly - i simply can ask anybody at the street for the directions and they were glad to help.. I went to the wooden bridge, lion monument, engelberg, mt titlis.. hope to be there again one day and visit mt rigi and mt pilatus this time

Excellent! When did it get so flooded? I really like the different views. I visited Switzerland two weeks ago and found it a wonderful country with a good mix of the modern with the natural beauty still preserved. We visited Lucerne in 2002 and it is a beautiful city. We enjoyed the view from Mt. Pilatus until the clouds rolled in. Loved the chocolate stores.
