Swan Lake Grizzly with elk calf takedown

6 picts of the grizzly catching a calf elk. I missed about 3 seconds including the catch in the brush and the forward momentum rolling into the snow. 7th image is a cinnamon black bear that I thought I put on last night.

Great series, John. So that is what she was doing so methodically out on the flat. No wonder the elk cows were hanging so close.
