OIL DRILLING OFF THE COAST OF FLORIDA
SOON TO BE A REALITY???

NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT!!!

Jeb Bush changes his position and wants to allow drilling off the coast of Florida. Republican Representatives
Jeff Miller of Chumuckla, Cliff Stearns of Ocala and Michael Bilirakis of Palm Harbor along with Bush's office are
in negotiations to open up area 181 to oil and gas exploration. Area 181 is a mere 213 miles away from Pinellas
beaches. Any so-called compromise to establish a 100-mile limit will actually move oil rigs closer.

Very nice panoramic photoplay. Looking at the original, the volley ball goal post is 'in-your-face'. Well done. I am in Florida also. I spend about four months out of the year living aboard my boat. Oil and gas exploration is just one of the issues threating the oceans. Overfishing, municipal and industrial pollution, and recreational destruction of the coral reefs are strangling the life out of the sea.

Florida has sun and more lightening strikes than any other state. You'd think that might be explored before destroying the tourist trade.

It's not going to be a popular cause fighting this with the price of gas. Again, the US gov't shows short sighted solutions for long term problems. I wish you luck in your battle. Here in WV, coal production has stepped up dramatically. We're not getting anywhere. People want their energy and they want it cheap. Who cares if they destroy the planet.
