Buzzard

This was the first thing we saw when we pulled up.
There was something extra "creepy" about being watched by a buzzard.
This is NOT a bird common to this area. Had kind of an Omen feel.

Barbra i feel horrible from reading your story. I am only 15 and i love to learn about haunted insane asylums or anything involving the paranormal activity. I have experienced the paranormal countless times. I do feel horrible though i wish i could have been there to help you.

It is very chilling for me to see and read about these places but at the same time i feel like i need to know about them.I am 64 years old when i was about 9 years old i was placed in a mental hospital. I can't remember where it was or the name and no one would ever tell me.It was in National City or Chula Vista,Ca.I was given 18 shock treatments one a day for 18 days. I was so scared i ran away once and went back to my mothers house when i got there apparently they knew where i would be heading they were waiting for me. They put me in a straight jacket I was so scared i thought i was going to die. They took me back and put me in a unite where it appeared to be all people that were really out of there minds. They kicked me hit me spit on me and yelled at me. I stayed in a corner and didn't move once i tried to move and one of the orderlys shocked me with some sort of wand. They ask me if i was ever going to run away again and i promised i wouldn't. they after 3 days took me back where they were giving me the shock treatments. It was the most horrible thing i ever had to go through. There was a lady in the bed next to me she said Barbara you listen to me and pay attention to what i have to say if you want to get out of here alive. She said whenever the doctors come in after your shock treatments and ask you are you going to me a good girl you say yes. when they ask you if your step dad molested you,you say oh no i just said that because i was jeolous of him and my mother and that i thought if i said that she would leave him.My point about writing this to let people know the stories they hear about these places are so true. I truly believe that lady saved my life.I feel like they raped my mind i still have some memory loss the doctors along time ago said i might never get it all back. Before you put your children in any of these places be very sure that is what they need.I guess i needed to talk about it i haven't in a long time.I would give anything if i could find that hospital so i could go get some information about that time in my life but i don't even have a name of the hospital.Who ever reads this God,Bless and you all underhis umbrella of love forever.I heard some one say that at that they were experimenting on dogs

What ever kind of bird it is. It's bodily functions seem to be working well

That's a buzzard, for sure, but they are very common around the midwest. Anywhere there is carreon (sic) there are buzzards.

A very good composition, but quality contrary. Everything looks black. That is because the main part of picture is a light sky, it made the bird dark

Perhaps you are right. I am not a student of Ornithology and did not do my homework on this one. In my haste I probably "fowled" this one up. ;)

I don't know..but could it be a vulture? looks kinda big for a buzzard?
And the head is bald...vulture-like...
just curious
